Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Giving Category Descriptions

“Budgeted Giving” is used for the following purposes:

  • The work of Ministry at Felton Bible Church

  • Care and discipleship

  • The building where we gather and utilities to keep the lights on, water running, and trash disposed

  • Support for our global partners and outreach

  • Resources and Administration (including this website here, where people may find out more about us)

  • Anything else we have joyfully committed ourselves to at the annual member’s meeting

Various “Reserve Funds” are used accordingly:

  • The vast majority of FBC’s ministry and gospel partnerships are supported via responsible, budgeted giving

  • Reserve Funds are used when there is a special need that well exceeds our anticipated spending - think of it as FBC’s “savings”
